Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 To Developers - Start Screen Stays; Single Application Platform Introduced

The buzz in Windows earth these days has all been about Windows ix. And what changes Microsoft has been planning for it's next operating system. Windows is a name that has become synonymous with Microsoft so the company is spring to pay attention to it's next operating arrangement, and (hopefully) learn from it's past errors.

And male child, does Microsoft have a lot of learning to do. The company faced stark criticism from dice-hard Windows seven users when it decided to remove the Start Carte du jour icon birthday from Windows eight. Microsoft Announces Windows 10 - Updated First Menu Integrated Platform And A New Proper noun.

And looks like folks over at Microsoft decided to take things at a new level entirely. It's official folks: The side by side Windows will not be named Windows 9 just will rather be called Windows ten. With it's i application platform, Microsoft is looking to change things completely with Windows 10 - therefore the new name.

VRG_1081However the name is the only change that was not expected and so far. As expected before, Start Menu is getting a good overhaul in Windows x. Citing the demand for personalization, Microsoft has pinned tiles to an updated Start Menu which maintains the compact arroyo of Windows vii still manages to blend the increased fluidity of Windows 8 and above in i package.

VRG_1085Another minor feature that confirms before screenshots leaked is the relocation of the Search selection to the job bar. The options provided by the search bar accept as well been increased with Web results included in the feature. But what's well-nigh of import hither is separation of desktop and metro apps, something which Microsoft has long been expected to do; partly due to user need and partly due to problems with the Metro platform itself.

VRG_1088Oh and the Charms bar isn't going anywhere on Windows 10. Microsoft has decided to proceed the bar keeping in line with the wishes of Windows viii tablet users. Still, the company still expects the feature to change as Windows x matures in it's evolution stage.

Oh, and speaking almost keeping old features alive. Looks similar the Start Screen is here to stay. The feature will be modified nonetheless. In Windows x, the user will be able to switch betwixt the feature based on touch or keyboard input. Sounds interesting.
